Service Opportunities

The Hospitals and Institutions Committee of Los Angeles Co-Dependents Anonymous needs both Panel Leaders and Speakers. A panel is an organized group of recovering co-dependents who visit on a regular basis (either monthly or weekly) to share experience, strength, and hope in working the CoDA program of recovery from co-dependence.

The only qualifications necessary for speaking on panels are six months of recovery in the Program of Co-Dependents Anonymous and the willingness to be of service to those who still suffer.

In addition to panel speakers, we need panel leaders as well as contacts with other hospitals and/or institutions interested in hosting CoDA panels.

LA CoDA currently runs the following panels:

 2nd Saturday of every other month (Feb., April, June, etc.)

10-11AM

Thelma McMillen Center for Chemical Dependency Treatment

7-8PM

Community Hospital of Long Beach
